Possibly a bug, difficult to know and pretty useless to ask here, you will not get an answer if it's a bug or not ;o) I can't help you much myself, I am not using AIS.

AIS_Viewer Grid : Memory problems?
Im my application, when a user opens and closes many files, after 20-30 or so files have been opened and the gris turned on - the grid will sometimes appear at an enornous size anf have yellow artifacts in it. I have put myViewer->Deactivate Grid in the Document destructor but it still happens, is there anything else i have to clear when the document closes? Or is this another OpenCascade memory-managment error?
