Not a CAD kernel, but how about OpenVDB if only voxel operations are needed?

CAD kernel for a voxel based geometry
I am having a very hard time visualizing a octtree/voxel/geomtric column type geometry. Is there another CAD kernel besides OpenCASCADE that would work better? Basically, a forbiddingly vast amount of time and RAM is going in creating each voxel and gluing it with other voxel.
