Building OpenCascade

I recently needed OCC 6.2 on a 64-bit Debian Linux system. As there is no pre-compiled download available for this system, I endeavored to compile OCC from source. I documented the required portability fixes, configuration options, etc. here: http://homepages.cae.wisc.edu/~kraftche/OCC/patches.html, in the hope that others may find it useful when trying to use OCC on an "unsupported" platform.
