what kind of compilation are you trying to obtain?
I mean, are you trying to compile for example GMSH with OCC support under Windows via CygWin or normal compilation under Linux with gcc?
in the latter case, everything should run pretty smooth if you correctly moved the OCC includes files in the right directories (f.e.: /use/local/opencascade/inc)
you should be more precise about what error did you get in order for us to help
