Don't worry it is not your fault, it's been like this for a long time and the problem is with the forum server, we are no paying customers so we are low priority I guess.
When you have posted, wait for a few seconds and then click on the "forum" link at the top of the page to get out of the waiting, the message is posted and complete within a few seconds the waiting is just something the server is doing after the post is complete.
