It's necessary to redesign MFC samples after V2d viewer removing. V3d viewer can be used for 2D visualization instead of V2d viewer functionality using.

Could you please check the mfc samples?
Especially, the compilation check for all project versions is really required:
vc8, vc9, vc10, vc11 (the last one have not been tried yet).
I guess there is no necessity to perform automatic testing (as we have no test cases for the samples).

patch was squashed into single commit and pushed into CR23776_2 branch to ease integration.
patch was squashed into single commit and pushed into CR23776_2 branch to ease integration.
Branch CR23776 was successfully tested. Saving to various extensions works correctly.
