Getting started in developer corner maintains own copy of Bottle tutorial:

It looks ambiguous now since publication of new documentation system:

as it has been discussed, it is proposed to keep on-line documentation for master, whilst releases contains documentation within their distribution packages.

Now links like http://www.opencascade.org/org/gettingstarted/appli/appli8/ (old documentation/tutorial pages on www.opencascade.org) point to new online documentation (doxygen) pages for current Open CASCADE release. I think the issue can be considered solved.
